Description
The wireless sensor SS-168 (TS-168) is designed to detect smoke in a room. The detector is triggered by smoke using an infrared emitter and a photodetector. The elements are mounted in a special chimney. When smoke particles enter the camera, the photodetector detects distortion of the infrared beam. If there is a lot of smoke, the distortion of the beam becomes strong, the sensor sends a message via radio (wirelessly) about a fire alarm to the central unit and the sound siren built into the sensor turns on.
